Hi there,
My name's Nelson and I'm from Portugal, so sorry my not so good english.

Back in 2004 I got myself an American Standard Strat S/S/S. What I wanted was a H/S/S, but this is Portugal, and at that time I didn't had other chance than got what it was in store (I dont think that fender had a HSS version of this guitar at the time anyway). Lucky me it was the color (sunburst) and neck (maple) that I wanted.

So when I bought the guitar I bought a Fender Atomic Humbucker for the bridge position and a HSS pickguard. I installed the humbucker as soon as I got home. But some month later I put it stock cause I used the regular 5-way switch that came with the guitar and probably I made some mistake soldering the wires 'cause the 2nd position was useless. Since I got married some time after that the guitar didnt hade much use lately since than, but now I want to go back in 'business' and I bought a 5-way superswitch 'cause I've read somewere that I needed that for the HSS setup. After some reading/digging arround this forum I'm feeling even more lost, 'cause I've read things about 500K pots vs 250k pot, resistors, etc, etc...

I'll try to put it as simple as I can:
Can any of you that had passed by something similiar point me an schematics and/or list of parts for what I want/need and how to assemble this thing?

What I want:

- H/S/S pickup configuration
- 1 Volume, 1 tone (middle & neck), 1 tone (bridge)
- 5 way switching (1-full humbucker, 2-hambucker split coil + middle, 3-middle, 4-middle+neck, 5-neck) the usual stuff. Position 2 and 4 in paralell.

So? Can anyone point me a direction? If you could draw that direction it would be awsome :)

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for you help, but in my case there is no S1 switch involved, and no Noiseless Pickups and that I think it changes everything... no?

Any other ideas?

You looked at other diagrams on fender.com ?

Or looked at Dimarzio pickups or Seymour Duncan , theres a lot of diagrams.

I got figured out (more or less) :)

For some stupid reason (or becuase I've do it vary late in the night...) I've changed the no-load pot from tone position to volume and soldered in a "reverse" way, so now my volume pot is more like a switch: full volume or off :)

Apart from that it´s all great.

I've picked up a bunch of diagrams from fender (basically from all guitars with a HSS configuration) and I ended figure it out.

Thanks a lot.
