Hi guys,
I just bought a lefty MIA 3tone sunburst strat w/ rosewood fingerboard and a "50th Anniversary" neck plate. A beauty.
where can I find the details on this puppy such as the type of pups it has and the wiring scheme. It sounds sweet and clean, w/ more distinction in the 5-way, different than my MIM 2001 strat which is louder at the same levels and dirtier(which ain't necessarily a bad thing). Is there a Fender online resource for this?

I have both the American deluxe 50th and the American 50th. Whick model do you have? Are the position markers black or abolone?

If yours has a rosewood fretboard, it's not a 50th anniversary model. All 2004 MIA Strats featured 50th anniversary neckplates, not just the special 50th models. The specific anniversary models had maple boards. The MIA had chrome hardware, the AM DLX had gold hardware.

I have the 50th deluxe model as well. One of the most versatile Strats that I own.
I don't recall ever seeing a 50th model with a Rosewood board.
Perhaps it was done special since it's a leftie.
Does your Strat have the S1 switch system on it? Does the finish feel like lacquer or catalyzed enamel?

I know it's not a"50th anniversary special edition". It's an American strat w/ the 50th anniversary neck plate. No s1. the finish feels like lacquer when compared to my black MIM strat. Just curios about which pups and wiring scheme it has.
