While on the internet reading many guitar articles..(time that would be better spent practicing) I have discovered where I have gone wrong..A ton of the greats have named their guitars..Blackie..Lucille..Woodstock..etc list goes on I have played acoustic for years but new to the electric thing. Maybe its because the only acoustic named guitar I can think of is Trigger (Willie nelson) or maybe its because Im a She and naming cars and guitars is a Guy thing but I think I must name my plus. How many of you have given your guitars a name? Torn hmm practice or think of a name haha

Have a great day
Mona

My guitars:

"Pearl"
"Moby"
"Woody"
"Jenny"
"Lucky"
"Monster Püppi"
"Buddy"
"Sunny"
"Stevie"

My Ibanez Jem is just called "Jem"
No names for my resonator, my 2 vintage Ibanez and my Mexican Fender (the latter will be sold again). I still think about a name for my resonator but couldn't find one yet (got it 5 days or so ago). My 2 vintage Ibenez are more like collectables, less for playing, so they won't get names.

I expect to receive my project strat body tomorrow. That guitar will get a name, too!
Most likely "Sharpie" because I will mount my self painted pickguard with sharpie art.

Strangely: I don't name my Fender Precision bass!

I call mine Highway 1, American Standard, Blacktop, Squier HM...eh you get the picture. I used to name them real names, but after the first 5 I owned I just stop naming them and call them by their model name. Hope I never get 2 of the same model.

In my area I've seen quite a few players name their guitars. I've tried to think of names for my Strats, but the idea of naming guitars has never caught on with me for whatever reason.
