Post subject: '70s machine bolt for 3-bolt neck plate

Does anyone know the correct tap/size for the the bottom machine bolt of a 3-bolt neck plate, I've searched high and low but no luck, thanks.

Thes are not wood screw ? You whant to know the size of ths screws ?

If you have the old bolt take it to Lowe's or Home Depot. They have the guides to determine the correct thread size. If you don't have the bolt, I recommend taking your guitar body to Home Depot/Lowe's and get help finding the bolt. Believe me, they will enjoy your visit. :D

Ai guitarnucleus.com , they sell no 8 X 1 1/4 " screw , it is a wood screw . And they have to what they call " machine screw for 3 bolts neck plate , fits botom hole of the neckplate " . A real bolt !!

I never heard about thet before; Maybe that is what guitaristDog8 is looking for ?
