This is all fantastic information. I just ordered a new trem bar. I'm looking forward to tinkering around with the spring claw balance once it comes in.

For now, I've adjusted the bridge to lie flat (fixed) since there no use for floating bridge at the moment. Loosening the six screws did the trick (duh) and the spring claw is set pretty tight.

So glad I don't have to buy a new bridge though I decided to upgrade the nut to a Graph Tech one. Who knew working on guitars was half the fun?

From what I understand there is are significant differences, correct me if I'm wrong, when setting up a six screw trem vs a two point. The two point setup described above is great but I was hoping for a detailed instruction for the six screw, more so now since you say you (the OP) have a six.
