They are beautiful guitars and there not cheap

I really really don't like the way the burst is split down the middle at all, it cheapens what is a beautiful finish in my eyes.

I agree to a point. The tops that look book matched look much better than the tops that look like two separate pieces. Either way I don't care much for the look of these also. Something just isn't right and I can't put my finger on what's buggin' me about it.

They are cool, but a bit on the expensive side. I'd rather pay for a Custom Shop guitar for that price.

These are a good bit cheaper than a custom shop if you can find them on sale. We got hold of one for $1600. I love the neck on it. I don't have a pic of the whole neck, but you can see the lovely grain on the headstock:
