Looking at this one to buy. Anyone have one like it? I've read good things about it but have never played one. Seems like a high price but he may come down some. I play mostly original blues and old Rock n Roll.

These are ( all ? ) good guitar but I won't pay this price . Is it only the Lace Sensor pickups make difference ? I don't know ? I have a friend have one and I use it one years , 10 years ago, and at this time this was a wonderfull guitar .

I agree these are great guitars and that I wouldn't pay any more than say $900.

Agreed. They are great guitars, but don't pay more than $800 - $900 for it. I don't think the black pickguard and black pickups are stock. I think the factory would have sent white.

I agree - for a 1994 a sunburst Plus Deluxe most likely had white covered Laces and a white pearl pickguard, plus the back plate wouldn't have an opening for the strings since these had the locking trem (the "Fender/Floyd Rose Trem" as it was called at the time). Even the ones in that transparent "blondeburst" Fender used that had the tortoise shell pickguards used white covered Lace Sensors.

Thanks to everyone for all the great info! I don't mind small modifications but I would wan't all the ORIGINAL equipment or I'll walk away ( I do however absolutely love the tortoise shell pick gaurd) my own personal preference is for the ivory knobs and pup covers though. After playing it I may change my mind...??? Who knows?
Another question: Are those the original tuner machines?
