I'm working on a new Strat mod, relacing all metal parts with "gold".
I have everything except for the bridge and locking tuners which are on back order and should arrive in another month or even two.

The pre-existing bridge and tuners have already been removed.

Is there any harm in leaving the guitar un-strung for a few months (tops)?
Note: controlled environment - open air, 72F/25C, 50-60% humidity.

Thanks,
david

You may have to re-set the neck relief once you re-string but I can't imagine there'd be any actual damage per se.

Better to loosen truss rod to be sure the neck will be ok when finish. What kind of tuss rod , Vintage , ( single rod ) or Biflex ? Single rod are more sensitive in my opinion.

But both need to be loosen.
