okay so i'm planning the build and got a few parts together i got a seymour duncan jb and i want some alnico v pups for the middle and bridge... i want them hot like the neck jazzmaster pup in my marauder... what do you recomend??? (i was thinking of going with the iron gear pig irons)...

i was also thinking of adding a split coil for the jb but i'm one of those guys that thinks that a humbucker is meant to be a humbucker so i'm not sure if i'd like it though i'd like to have a versatile axe...

should i go with locking tuners???... i want the most tremolo stability and i know they are not necessary but they sound like a step forward for who wants a good trem action....

You're into a lot of personal taste decisions...be prepared for lots of input...

When I replaced by bridge pickup with a SD SSL-6T I was happy to have a hot sound when needed, but also happy to have a level close to the others when needed...so the tapped output worked.

I also went with the Push-Push switch on the second tone control...it was easier to manipulate than the Push-Pull control.
