Hello Fender maniacs. I would like to shear my problem here and get as many oppinions as possible!
2 years ago i ordered Roadhouse dluxe Mexico from Thomann.de , as they offer 3 years warranty. I doubt my guitar is made in Mexico ( I suspect a China made guitar), because lately i got rust all over the bridge, the tremolo, the screws........almost all of the metal parts of the guitar. As a play and work with my guitar every day, i clean it and dry it up after every gig or practice. And store it in my Gator case with some cilica gel inside, to suck the humudity. Is that normal process - to get rust in the end of the second year of usage???? Is there a way to check if the guitar is realy made in Mexico???? I am from Bulgaria and Thomann.de is a respectful store, but i suspect they send to my country products with low quality, due to the fact we can't look for our rights. After i got in touch with them, they answered that the metal parts of the guitar are not included in the warranty....... Please, give me an advice! Is it normal to get rusty all metal parts of my Mexico Roadhouse Dleluxe after 2 years of usage????? Thank you very very much in advance!!!

Call Snake
Seriously, Thomann is always trying to make the customers happy. They always treated me well.
Your guitar is from Mexico and no, you don´t get lower quality than any other European member how should they?
DON´T store guitars in their case, they will rust in there, that´s fact.
Is it just the saddles?

Cheers,
Robin

Something as simply as one's body chemistry can produce the same maladies regardless of how well one cares for his or her guitar.

Mostly the saddles, but almost on any metal parts - the screws, the saddles, the five-way switch......! Believe me, the guitar is well treated and cleaned every day. If it doesn't spend the night in the hard case ( with some humudity sucker - cilica gel) , where do I store my guitar????? I have a guitar from China, RiverSide, and it is 5 years old. With the same tratment the guitar is in perfect condition......it was 150$ cost and still no rust!!! I got furstrated - Mexican guitar lasts shorter???? I used Thomann.de because I believed they treat the custumers equal. But the say the metal gear of the guitar is not a subject of the 3 years guarantee........so , what is left from the guitar??
Thank you all for the attention. Please, if someone has Mexican strat, shortly explan how was the first 2-3 years.........I still think is it not normal. :)
