Post subject: Bridge troubles

So I just restrung my strat, and the bridge is tilted towards the headstock of the guitar. I don't know how this happened. I don't know much about the parts of the bridge, so explain any terms you use.

Hi Ultra Purple,

Not a problem, just a few minor tweaks and you'll be good again. This can happen when changing to a different gauge or brand of strings. First, loosen all six strings a little, then tighten down the two trem claw screws located in the back cavity under the cover (only two srews there). Re-tune and readjust screws to get a balance of strings and springs to get the bridge where you want. If the action is to high after correcting the bridge, you might need a truss rod tweak also.
