Just noticed that the Product page is listing three new FSR Strats. Check it out:

http://www.fender.com/products/index.ph ... ic+Guitars

Looks like a couple of American Specials, one in natural ash and another in vintage blonde, plus a black paisley HSS standard Strat..

Good to see that Fender continues to acknowledge the humbucker.
Eventually, we will get an "HHH". Yaahhhooooooo!

I really like the FSR Strats - what about a pumpkin Strat in October ?
Just a RI of the Capri Orange International would be great, come on good people at Fender I buy two if you make a FSR of the whole series.

Cheers,
Robin

The black paisley is kinda cool. Would like to see one in person.

I've had "the fever" for a new axe here lately... that Ash s/s/h is looking mighty fine. I didn't find it anywhere when I did a shopping search but I'm sure it's in the pipeline...

I still think I'm leaning towards a Tele parts-o-caster... nashville style with a strat middle pup. My only other tele has a humbucker in the neck... it's great but I like the single coil neck pickup and a start pup thrown in too seems like it would fun. Anyhow... I'm getting off on a tangent, sorry, not trying to hijack the thread. 8)

Not to mention Cathay Ebony, Monaco Yellow, Maui Blue, Sahara Taupe and - of course - those weird marble bowling ball finishes!

The ash-bodied Special is gorgeous! Reminds me of the hardtail American Std I had years ago... ash body with shell guard. Awesome looking combination IMO.

The product pages for the Black Paisleys and La Cabronita redirect to a broken link:

"There were no products found for your search.. Let's try your search again!"

FYI the Black Paisley HSS Strat deserves a matching pickguard, Floyd Rose trem, DiMarzio PAF Pro/Texas Specials with switchable Clapton electronics and a Richie Sambora neck with graduated star inlays.

id rather it without the FR and without the hideous star inlays. also if its going to have a matching pickguard, at least spray the edges of the guard to blend in with the body.

The production Black Paisley Samboras were MIJ but the MIA ones with the TX Specials and the Elite mid boost circuit were CS Master Built by Todd Krause.

Todd was Richie's personal luthier at the time.

Could it be that the black paisley Strat is MIM? It has a small headstock (and a small price tag too).
