Darn, should have added 25th Year Anniversary Model celebrating 1987 Fender Plus introduction?

Accidentally, I missed MIK as an option as well. Sorry.
Fender was using Korea to build guitars during the 1990s, maybe the 1980s.
I believe the Fender Showmasters were/are made in Korea, some other guitars as well :)

He said it's a Strat Plus. It looks to be a minty early edition. Nothing in the photos or description indicates that we should be suspicious. You know or should know from all of your postings about the Strat Plus in all of the other threads and from your study of Xhefri pages...that they were only made in USA and are not in any way connected with a 2012 reissue. Listen to Chromeface.

I think everyone's kidding about that - it's just that the OP's is in such pristine condition that it's hard to believe it's from late '87 to early '88 time frame (based on the second verision Wilkinson nut and the E4 serial number).

I could re-read the word pristine several times! I first saw the guitar in March and have been scraping the funds together and just Prayed no one else bought it out from under me! Even the original case is in incredible condition as you can see from the picture i posted . I am also still amazed how well it stays in tune..

Do not play it. Keep it in the case.
Pass it on to your kids, after your last breath.
Your Plus will only go down hill after the first guitar cord is plugged-in
and and your first downstroke touches the pick guard.

Also, never change the strings . . . as future museums will want 100% Fender Factory original.
Kind of like painting the garage cement floor. Never looks as good as the first day.
Kind of like your first girl friend 8)
