Hello everybody ! I'm planning to do some mods on my strat. I want someting special, i've tried to combine some mods. Here's the schematic (drawn with paint). Image. So is it going to work ? Some people told me that there is a problem with the kill switch. How can i make it work ? And is it possible to ad an active/passive switch ?

Thanks

You ask something not easy.
It's a "lot " of circuit study to give you the right answer. Many switches and the Eric Clapton mid boost spec are not write in your schematic. Sorry, too much research and work ,time is missing for.

Be patient , maybe somebody in next weeks ....

Howdy!

Your diagram looks like it will work. The kill switch will probably make an annoying "pop" when used with the clean channel on your amp, but won't be to much of an issue if your using plenty of gain.

There is a way of adding a active passive switch but its a lot of effort. The link below will lead you to a thread where a forum user has very cleverly utilised an S-1 switch to do this.

Hope this helps.

That's a very interesting site ! Thanks for that !

I'm going to remove the EC midboost because it's just too much. I'm going to draw another diagram with some other ideas.

Thanks for the information everybody!
