Yes it is real. The very small amount of contour on the forearm area is a dead-on trademark of a mid to late 70's Strat body. Also, those cast bridge saddles look right too. As for value, they aren't worth a whole lot, but maybe $1000-$1500 or so, depending on overall condition :D

You can really discern how thick those "thick skin" finishes from the '70s were, judging from that minor fretboard damage at the first fret. The non-standard tuners would diminish the value to an extent but it does look pretty clean for a 36 Y/O instrument.
