Does anyone know what Fender used in the 50s and 60s as far as flat-bottom vs. curved-bottom nuts? Did Fender always use curved nut bottoms?

To me, it would make sense for Fender to use flat bottom nuts on the full maple necks and slab boards, and then switch to curved bottom boards with round lam fretboards in 1962. This is all theory of course.

Any information would be very helpful!

To the best of my recollection, they were always curved.
