You refering to the string action?

Well an extract from"The Players Guide to Guitar Maintenance" by Dave Burrluck, it doesnt describe as neck and bridge.Supposedly your neck is straight then:

Low action - 12th string height at treble (high E) = 1.2mm
- 12th string height at bass (low E) = 1.6mm

Medium action - 12th string height at treble = 1.6mm
- 12th string height at bass = 2.0mm

High action - 12th string height at treble = 2.0mm
- 12th string height at bass = 2.4mm

There's really no good answer to that one.Different neck widths and string gauges will really dictate what you can achieve.
Unless you are planning on doing some mods to the bridge I would leave the spacing the way the factory set it.
The only time I would change that is if I saw that the strings did run run correctly down the neck. That is thy got eithe closer to the edge or further away as you go down the neck. Assuming the neck has been set straight this usually means cutting a new nut.

Hope this helps ya
