Alright heres the skinny:

I had a groovy design that i drew on my pickguard with a sharpie. But it started to wear after a couple of days of playing.

Does anyone have any tips for making my design stick?

or better yet: does anyone have any pics of a design they have done on their guitar?

heres mine:

take it to a graphics shop and see if they can have or can make vinyl stickers for you that will look a little more articulate..... or you can always use enamel paint marker, BUT it wont be very precise.

Check out this place: http://home.comcast.net/~pickguards/index.htm

They have 2 piece pickguards with the outer piece being clear. You put your design in between the 2 pieces.

Go to the Color Chart page, then scroll all the way to the bottom. There is a link there for "Design-A-Guard", click on that.
