Yes. But techniques like pick scraping and finger slide noise diminish dramatically due to the tight wrap of the strings. Otherwise, they sound just a hint brighter and more metallic than DM Blue Steals.

so if i read this corrctly, these strings have less noise when moving up and down the fretboard?

may be what i am looking for
