Make it across the border to China, guitars are cheaper there.
Are you serious ?

Cheers,

I assume that this question is about the upcoming free Fender magazine (you're supposed to order them from your dealer, then when they come in the dealer will tell you to come pick up your copy).

I don't know why this thread was started in the Strat forum instead of the Fender Lounge, or why whd1952 didn't ask this question in the "announcement thread" about the upcoming Fender mag.

Per that thread, Fender hasn't committed to making a full pdf of the magazine available, but they're hinting that they will make a pdf available at a later date.

whd1952, are you an Afghan civilian or are you stationed there? If you're stationed there you should be able to have someone in your home country pick you up a copy and mail it to you. Or contact the dealer in your home town -- I'll bet they'd be glad to mail you a copy.

Civilians need to be careful as well.

Truth be known, I am a retired US Army vetran working for one of the contractors in Southren Afghanistan. I brought my Strat back with me whenI came back from home. If it wasn't for this little piece of American Culture, I think I would have lost it due to the rocket attacks we have here.
