Today :D It sure is pretty and I love the neck and body. Haven't played it yet, but it sure wasn't a mistake. Worked late tonight, going fishing early in the morning, then coming home to tune it up and hook it up right and see what it will do. The temolo bar isn't attached and I haven't had time to read the book and make sure I can tune it to pitch and play it without it; I don't have a need for one right now and just as soon leave it go. Once I read the book, I'm gonna plug it in and announce its arrival to the neighbor.

I wouldn't worry about the tremolo arm mate, unless you're planning on using the tremolo.
Going from acoustic to electric it's something you don't need right away. If after a while you decide you want to give it a shot, it's there for you.

If I were you, for the sake of ease. I'd look at tightening the trem claw (round the back of the body, in the cavity covered by the big white plastic cover). It'll help you tune up easier whilst you get used to the switch over. Tighten the screws holding the claw in place. Loosen the strings off first though. Or you could just add a couple of springs, I got 5 with mine. 3 fitted, 2 in the pack of goodies.
I'm a firm believer in well set up, floating tremolo's BTW. I just think it would be easier if you didn't have to worry about it for a while.

All the best mate.

yessir I agree with that. I've been reading up a bit on that tremolo and I think you're advice is the best for me at this point. Thank you.
