You have to clean your pot with electric contact cleaner in spray. Easy on Tele , not so on Strat . You have to see the pot and spray contact cleaner where is a small hole on the side of the pot.

If you just paid for it, take it back to the dealer if its new.
Have them fix it.

If you bought it used, well then you'll need to fix it or bring it to someone who can
