Hey all, just wanna get peoples' thoughts on these pups. From what I can tell, they put these on the MIM guitars as well as some of the Squier Strats (Bullet, Affinity, maybe a few others). What do you guys think about them in general?

They were standard with my 2002 MIM deluxe Super Strat in Crimson red, the one with the push/push switch.
I disliked them feeling that they were not really versatile or distinctive. So out they went and instead I replaced them with a set of SCN's and simple 5 way switch but had the bridge wired to one of the tone pots. I stored them away until I figured out what I would do with them.

Stratopartster I .... Was the answer. See thread for complete details..

Anyway I installed them in the Black Strat but did a couple electronic mods, using Premier.com's suggestions on using a TBX tone pot.

I followed the 2nd part in wiring up the two TBX tone pots by adding a jumper between two of the pots lugs and by using a 220k instead of the 82k resistors ( radioshack ) which gives a seamless transition when switching from one TBX pot to the other at their mid points.
Now these pickups are alive, or more to the point much more versatile with the amp I use mostly, an early 60's Magnatone 410 Classic as well as they did quite well with my HRD ( sold and gone ) looking into either an Evil Robot and/or a Blues Deville or a Blues Deluxe or a Blues Junior.

The Dlx. Super Strat actually came with what Fender called "Super Fat Strat" pickups. These were actually American Standard pickups and from what I can see from the photos in your link, the neck and middle pickups were what Fender was using for the bridge pickup on the American Standard after the Deltatone upgrade.
