Last month I posted pics of the Strat HSS I had just purchased;
http://www.fender.com/community/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=70416.

The guitar came with a white pickguard & back cover. I mentioned in the thread that I thought an Aged Pearl pickguard and back cover would look good.
Well I finally got around to putting them on and it looks as good as I had hoped. At least I think it does.

Here's some before and after pics. They're not really a fair comparison since one set is taken outside and the other inside, but they're good enough to see the difference.

P.S. Just in case you read the thread about my purchase, the pots didn't need replaced, just needed cleaning. I also had the tech lower the action a little. The guitar plays and sounds really nice and the pots are noise free now. :D

Pearl pickguards mostly look great!
In this case I must say that I like the plain white better, it matches the slightly aged plastic parts better but that's just my personal taste.

Nice axe anyway!

On this I would have gone a Dark Pearl instead, contrasting aged white knobs/switch and pup covers.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I understand what you're saying about the knobs and pup covers, but I didn't think they were matching up too well with the white pickguard either.

That's a good idea about getting new knobs and maybe pup covers too. White or chrome? I hadn't really thought about chrome, but right now I'm leaning towards white.

You're probably right.
I did consider the black pearloid and it was a tough decision between it and the aged. Just thought the aged might look a little better.
