Hi DirtyBluesPlayer,

Adjust each saddle to change the length of the associated string. The open note for each string should be the same as the note when fretted at the twelfth fret. If the fretted note is high, the string is short, adjust the saddle away from the neck to lengthen the string. If the fretted note is low, the string is long, adjust the saddle towards the neck to shorten the string. Before adjusting the saddle screw, loosen the string to relieve the downward pressure on the saddle so as not to scratch the plate, adjust the saddle then re-tune and recheck the intonation, repeat if necessary.

tnx for that tip, but sometimes i do that thing, when the fret note is ok, then, the open note is sharp, i pull the saddle, after pulling the saddle, nothing changes, why that is happening?

That's backwards.

Tune the open note by turning the tuner for that string. With the open note properly tuned to pitch, then check the fretted note and adjust the saddle if necessary. Be sure loosen the string before adjusting the saddle. Re-tune the open string using the tuner after adjusting the saddle, and check again.

Just enough to relieve the downward pressure on the saddle so as not to scratch the plate when the Allen screws move across the plate while adjusting.

ah tnx alot, now i know the proper arrangement of my bridge intonation :D
the reason why i need it to adjust is because i need to remove the rust from the saddle screws together with the spring, what treatment should i do to remove the rust permanently without abusing my beloved guitar?

Soak in 3 in 1 oil, scrub with old toothbrush, then wipe oil off.

WD 40 would not hurt anything, but 3 in 1 is much better. Use WD 40 if you want, no problem.

That is the brand, "3 in 1", actually it's "3-in-One". It's a high quality 20-weight motor oil.
