I can't seem to find it anywhere online for my next guitar project, searching comes up with either a Blizzard Pearl guitar or Toyoya Blizzard Pearl paint.

Hmm... Wonder if it's the same color?

Hi mcmacguy: I don't know if Fender's Blizzard Pearl is the same as Toyota's. To my eye the Toyota one looks paler, but that's just going from photos on the net, so hardly reliable. In recent decades guitar makers often redesignate colours with their own names when they use automotive paints - and for that matter Toyota seem to have several names for the same paint. So it can be hard to be sure.

Still, easy enough to pop into an automotive paint store (parts shop, whatever; or buy online) and ask for a tin of Toyota Blizzard Pearl and see what comes out the nozzle. It may be the same as Fender's, and if not you might find you like it anyhow. A paint supplier should be able to summon that colour up from their database for you, but in case it helps I believe Toyota's code for it is 070.

Good luck - and feel free to show us the results. :)

Cheers - C

Maybe Fender could give some insight?
