Well, i dont find much difference between a normal neck, but i can tell that the low e string has some power bass which my les paul doesnt... Also sooo much vibration, and the high e bends normally, nothing strange...

Maybe it is the guitar itself, but its special in that way...

Greetings

Congrats on getting the guitar!
I bought mine from Guitar Center when it first came out.
I really didn't like the 7.25" radius Maple neck and small frets.
So....when I got the opportunity....I switched it out to a Highway One Rosewood neck with a 9.5" radius with a Rosewood neck.
I switched out the pickups too....to some DiMarzio Area series pickups.
I LOVE it so much more now!

Hi friend

I saw several posts with you talking about that jewel.

But it seems kinda strange what you have done... I mean, the only guitar original part you have is the body... All was changed... Whats the point of buying that guitar¿ :|

BTW, awesome looking guitar

Maybe have a back-up neck in case of a warping or breaking emergency?
He'll have two necks he knows. Toppscore

I liked the concept of the original guitar.....a Jimi influenced righty Strat with a lefty neck.
The stock components were just too cheesy for me!
So....I took it upon myself to 'Improve' her.....
That, unfortunately, meant scrapping everything but the body!
What can I say....she wasn't 'stage worthy' before....but now she is!....
So...I'm a bit nutty.......

All guitars are two parts, neck & body.
All amps are three parts, chassis, speaker and cabinet.
All are made to be interchangeable. Right?
If your changes are good, it is a keeper.
Sell it down the road, you got your monies worth, Right?

I have owned six 1965 Ford Mustangs, all have had many various changes:
paint, interior, wheels, breaks, oil, lube, bearings, radios, head-rests,
engines, carbuators, exhaust systems, tail pipes, trannys, windows, lights,
wipers, carpeting, alternators, batteries, rubber seals, bumpers, pumps, etc.

So, change away and make yourself a happy guitar player.
Toppscore 8)
