I played two of these guitars so far and I'm really impressed. Everything about it was wonderful. If I were a new player, I know that I would buy an Am. Std.

Thanks, Fender!

I wish that I could, but I own too many Strats already. The wife would kill me.

I don't think that you say a particular model is good or bad. But I've played pleanty of awful Fender guitars. Here are two off the top of my head:

A '62 Tele Custom w/ Bigsby vibrato. Problem: The design of the Bigsby is good, but changing strings was a pain and the bridge that Fender uses is not very good. They would do better to change to a Gibson style bridge. Also the tone of the guitar wasn't that good.

A Torinio Red CS '50s Strat (not sure what year) Problem: The fret work was really bad and the neck wood shrank.

I owned a '79 Strat that had an awful warped neck. It was almost a blessing when it got stolen.

Oh my gosh, Becky! Look at her BUTT!!!
Look what I just purchased:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/300692399329?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

The custom shop owner said the body & neck are from a 1962 Telecaster
anniversary reissue. Then, everything else has been changed after the
being stripped down to the body and neck wood.

Please read the description and tell me what you think?

Thanks. Toppscore :)

No. Just sustaining the subject of the anniversary reissue statement:

"But I've played pleanty of awful Fender guitars. Here are two off the top of my head: A '62 Tele Custom w/ Bigsby vibrato. No real biggie, I hope. Toppscore 8)
