way to go. I did the very same thing as you. messed around with playing off and on for years, and never had a "nice" guitar. in March I got a deluxe strat HSS same color as yours with a maple neck only differance is my pick gaurd is the off white. I got the Fender super champ x2 amp. I try to play everyday, still not very good but having a blast
