Has anyone had any experience of installing a seven way switch on a strat:

P.S. This is a bit gaudy for my taste and too rich for pocket for a MIM strat:

A six year old, new guitar?

Suggest you read the ad more closely:

"Prewired with Full Size 250K pots, 5 way switch and input jack.

The Volume pot is a push/pull pot. When the pot is down, works just like a regular strat."

The switch is not 7-way.

I have a mij wired like this with fat 50's with a push pull, extra two circuits are neck and bridge like a tele and all three. It's more sounds, all three at once has a nice break up at low volumes. I dig it.

Never even heard of such a thing. I would think a push pull pot would be better than a seven way as the position changing is so slight, you may not be able to get the exact position you're looking for quickly.

Awwww...

I got all excited when I saw the thread title... The mind boggles at the silly number of combos you could wire up to a 7 way super switch!

Did I read the ad? Five way switch but with SEVEN ways of switching because of the push pull pot config. Seems that most of the responses want to split hares:

Ordered - can't wait to hear how my EJ sounds with all three single PUs chiming, and this will give me an excuse to copper tape and shield it's insides.

Well, I am sure from looking at the photo that the pots, switch and especially the wiring are worth every bit of the $25 price.
