Hey guys, I bought this strat about 10 years ago and I was wondering if anyone knows what kind it is, some specs, and possibly a price to put on it.
Here are some pictures:

All I know is:
- rosewood fretboard
- made in Japan
- Floyd Rose bridge

Thanks!

Can you provide a serial number so I can find out approximately when it was made?

According to Fender Product Dating it was made between 95'-96'. From the looks of it, it looks like a Squire Floyd Rose Series Stratocaster. However, these models usually had a Floyd Rose Series logo on the top of the headstock. so, I'm not sure on this one.

It's a Fender Squier Series Floyd Rose Strat. Not a Squier, notice the main logo says Fender, not Squier.
Being Japanese it's worth a bit more than the Mexican ones. Around £200-£250 if you get the hex bolts and clamps for the locking nut. It's otherwise in good nick.
Blertes has a thing for em, he may offer you a fair price should he see this thread.

It says Squier Series at the top of the headstock

Do some Fender history and you'll see.
It's far better than jumping to assumptions.

Sorry, guess I am jumping to assumptions  I guess I do need to do a little bit more homework next time.

I should have known better; I'm kicking myself. I mean no malicious intent and I am sorry if I have provided any false information. Forgive me.

It's a Squier Fotoflame Floyd Rose Strat.

It's a nice looking Stratocaster. I would pay $275 to $300 USD depending on the shape and condition and how well it played, basically because it it missing some pieces. You may be able to get more if it is excellant condition.

That sounds about right. That's usually what they sell for on Ebay. Although, I've seen people LIST them for $500+.

Fender began manufacturing these, when they discontinued the Fender Stratocaster Hot Rod Reissue. They are essentially a more affordable version of the HRR model. From what I've heard they are a great value, and not your typical Fender Squier Stratocaster.

The HRRs became the basis for the Richie Sambora signature series. These guitars were also the precursors to the Floyd Rose Classic models, which were part of the American Special line from 1992 to 2003.

No they weren't Chromeface, they ran at the same time as the guitars you claim they were a precursor to. This series of guitars (that you are incorrect about naming) ran from 1991 to 1998.
