Hi everyone. I have small hands and like to play thumb-over style like srv, hendrix...etc. Which neck type-radius are best for me because I'm having difficulties with my current ibanez rg wizard neck guitar ( I think it's a very thin V shape neck). I was thinking to buy a SRV signature strat but considering that he has very big hands, I dont know if its suitable for me to play that guitar with thumb over style with my small hands.

Most Strats and Tele's nowadays have the modern C-shape necks with the 9.5" fretboard radius. The necks are pretty thin and very comfortable. You should try one out in a shop. All Squiers and Fenders have that setup except for a few of the re-issues and signature ones which have specs more akin to the vintage styles from the 50's & 60's.

I have small hands and play with my thumb over the top of the neck. I really like the neck of the EC Strat ( soft V).

Also I know that the Bonnie Rait Sprat had a smaller neck. They haven't made those in a few years.

The '57 Reissue that I have is a soft V and it's a good one for small hands.

Thinner neck such as the MIM line would be better as well as a Squier if you want to go that route. However, you should be fine with any standard "modern C" shaped neck.
