Edit. I found the MIM version new for $699. This guy is trying to pass it off as a American 57' Reissue

Nowhere within the listing does the word "American" appear, nor is it implied.

I see no attempt to defraud.

Well, the seller is calling the guitar a "57 Reissue" when it is actually a "Classic Series 50's" Strat:

I got one just like this. It is a MIM Classic Series 50s Strat. I got the same color Surf Green. They come with a gig bag but, I just got a hard padded wood Roadrunner case for mine. I posted a picture of it and got some cool responses. The pickups sound very cool but they are noisey, just like some of the 50s ones were. Also when I was trying to post this it wound up on another post here for a 50s Strat but, it was for reissues made in the late 80s in Fullerton. (Probably Brea!) The list on these is $999. I got a nice deal on mine.
