I have played guitars with P90's and I have loved the sound! I would like to mod my Squire Strat (HSS) with P90's or some other configuration. So, does anybody here have P90's in any of their Strats? How do they sound?

Pete Townshend has his EC Blackie fitted with P90s since 2003.

Has anyone here had any personal experience with P90's in a Strat?

I played the Vintage Robbie Gladwell signature Strat like guitar. 3 P90's 5 way switch. It sounded like P90's on a 25.5" scale length guitar. A bit more attack than a LP JR with a very aggressive treble.

I have a set of WCR SR's that are wound extremely hot and into P-90 territory. They are installed in my 1986 MIJ '72RI Strat.
They sound awesome!!!

I didn't Lose my mind, I traded it for this guitar.

Checked out on youtube, there's a guy playing " Kinman " p 90 hx pickups on a strat. They sound killer...... They are hum cancelling pickup.
