After trying it out, I had to go back and get it a few years back.

JAC...that is a sweet looking guitar. Thanks for posting the pics...I love these Classis Series guitars :!: They play great, sound great, and have fine feel to them.

Thanks guys! I dig the sound of the ALNICO pickups. Having single wound pickups, this Strat is not as quiet as my Deluxe, but the tone is very sweet! I got the pickups setup to the factory recommended specs. That seems to be working for right now but, in the future this may get slightly altered if needed.

Sweeeeet! I have got one classic 50's myself , have had it some years . 5 ? Since that was my first strat , I tried it out besides several others. And THIS was the one I wanted. It had the sound I wanted , and the playability- with it's soft v-shape neck. But to me it had the WRONG color! It is Fiesta Red! But that was the only one available in that particular shop, and I wanted/needed it immediately - SO - I bought it, and I've been happy with it ever since. But I have to say that I like the color of your guitar better......There is poll going on on this forum about colors - and I think Fiesta Red is getting quite many scores there - so maybe I am a fool.... But, Love the guitar !
Have been thinking of changing PUPs , but lately I bought a strat with SD's , so I think the RED one will remain the same for some time.
Thank you for posting :D

On the photos I've seen Fieta Red looks very nice! I love the soft v-neck.

That is one of the Best Colors Fender has IMHO especially with a tinted Maple Neck.
I hope to have one myself one day. Congrats and enjoys

My favorite... Classic 50's Daphne Blue with a Warmoth custom 22-fret neck, blocked trem, Noiseless pickups and active circuit. Yum! :P

It's a shame Fender retired Daphne Blue from the EC Customs... But everyone can buy a Daphne Blue Classic 50's and turn it into a Ferrari!

Here's mine, in Daphne Blue, which seems to be Surf Green's redheaded sister. 2010 model. It came with a nice tweed case.

Here it is hanging out with my MIJ '50s Classic Tele from the mid-late '80s. A '50s style Strat and a '50s style Tele. Perfection.
