I posted a while back a few pics of my eBay strat purchase. I was a little nervous that I may have had a quick trigger finger bidding on something I had no real knowledge of. I have heard over the years that the MIJ 80's - 90's strats could be real jems so with that and no real expectation of winning I placed my bid. When I saw that I had actually won all sorts of thoughts raced through my head. I could write all that out but I think you probably know what I mean. I saw from following the tracking number that it is "out for delivery", I can only imagine what a guy that did the "mail order bride" type thing back in the day must have been thinking. On a different note, I just saw that Ronnie Montrose has passed. I grew up with his music, a huge influence on me and my appreciation for music.
