I'm considering the following options and would very much like to hear the opinions and recommendations of the community.

[Option A] ADStrat (2011) + Hot Rod Deluxe +Boss BD-2
[Option B] ADStrat (2011) + Hot Rod Deluxe + TS9
[Option C] ADStrat (2011) + Hot Rod Deluxe + ???

p.s. If this post belongs in the amp section I apologize and ask that a moderator move it.

Bluer Monkey, try the Digitech Bad Monkey. Seriously, I tried one on a HRD & imo it sounded better than the ts9. Another one might be the modded BD2 by keeley.

If you're looking at a TS9 then seriously consider the Maxon OD9 Pro+...very similar circuit but bit more versatile thanks to a couple of switching options...

Many thanks for your suggestions and comments. I ended up trying a whole bunch of OD pedals which I hand not heard before. And the Oscar goes to >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>drum roll >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> TS9

I bought a new Boss SD-1 and sent it to be modified by aNaLoG.MaN.
The circuit is based on a TS but with a better switch.
It sounds great for what I use it for-overdrive.

Keeley-modded TS-9 and BD-2 are very hard to beat-My new fave is the Fulltone Plimsoul-it has a huge sonic landscape and cleans up amazingly well with volume knob rollback.
