According to the bathroom scale, about 9lbs.

That's not especially heavy. Not when you hear about some 12 pounders.

Hey HWY1Strat, I forgot you had an Antigua in addition to all of your HSS Highway Ones. What year is that Antigua?

I prefer using this ability clean through the amp. What are your thought on this?

Absolutely, the cleaner the better. With pups 1 and 3 on (bridge and neck), I can get it to sound like a tele or even a Les Paul, 335, or Gretch with both pups on. I can get a real rockabilly sound out of that setting and sounds great distorted as well. With all 3 pups on, it gives you an "ultra-quack" sound which I find very funky and expressive, but only when playing clean through an amp or directly into a soundboard with all the EQs turned up. Intriguingly, I almost never play the middle pickup by itself; it's not as expressive as the other positions. My favorite strat sound has got to be the neck pickup, clean and loud.

When I first got the guitar I was thinking that it reminded me of a Les Paul, but not quite. I couldn't place it and then I heard Clapton playing during Blind Faith's Hyde Park show on TV and then it hit me. That's so cool.
