Hi Paris,
Good to hear from you. How is the counterfeit guitar business treating you? I have been well, thank you.
Current #1 is a Gibson Les Paul Blonde Beauty 2007. I put a ton of work in this puppy, custom pickups, pots, caps, tuners. She really screams.
#2 MIA Fender Stratocaster, Olympic white/maple. Mostly stock, with a blocked trem and an aftermarket bridge pup.
Amps: Deville 212 with a recap and a pair of greenbacks. Needs more work before its top notch.
Vox AC 4 head that I run through the DeVille cab.
I have a bunch of other guitars and stuff in Dad's basement, but that is 1,400 miles from my house. I played out a bunch in HS and college, but not so much in the last year and half (since I moved half way across the country).
All instruments are legit and do not contain any illegal fraudulent decals or stickers.
I mess around on bass, but it has been a while since I have had one around.

Nice guitars. I really like the wood grain on the LP. I own a LP Std in Ice Tea Burst, but my first love has always been Strats. I just put my EC Strat back together. I was using the neck on a Hwy1 body and some CS '54 PUPs. I missed playing the Clapton so I put everything back the way I found it.

That is a beautiful LP jnastyNE.

An re. the ebay auction - the guy never advertised the guitar as a Fender. I have no problem with this one.

What was wrong with the body on the Clapton? I have never owned a git with active pups, so I cant speak for the electronics, but is there a reason that you put the body on stand by?

The Clapton body was fine. I just wanted to experiment. I wanted to take the best qualities of my own guitars and make one guitar.

The neck on the Clapton is my favorite. I have countless hours of playing time on it so it's really broken in. I love the way the black Hwy1 body looked and felt after I shined it up. It looks like a really old black Strat. Also I love the sound of the CS '54 pickups. They really are dead on for a '50s Fender sound. I'm fan of Clapton, Buddy Guy and Otis Rush.

Saddly I started missing the sound of the Clapton. It really is an amazing guitar. It's a got the Lace Sensors, which I prefer over the pickups in the current Clapton model.
