Nah I don't like the thing. Sounds great, feels ... uninspiring. Not bad by any means. Infact quite good when compared to most guitars. Just doesn't do it for me.

Well, as a Gibson guy, who just recently purchased his first Strat (And loves it almost as much as his Gibson  )

I can tell you this, Strats are finicky and different to get used to... Even though mine came "Set-up" fairly well, I still had to intonate it a bit... Also, didn't know it had 9's on it... put a set of 10's on it, THAT threw it out of wack, kinda freaked me out... Had to adjust the tension of the Trem strings (screw those two screws a little tighter... now it's practically a hardtail) Went back to 9's last night, still not sounding as good as I feel it should, spent a good hour and a half adjusting pickup heights... and now, I've got an ear to ear grin because my HSS is FAT!!!! But number one rule, especially with the truss rod, don't mess with it if you don't know what you're doing... I also notice a little buzz sometimes, mine comes from the saddles, mainly the D string, wiggle it down a bit till you don't hear the buzzing...

BTW... First post!! I'm new hear!! Nice to meet y'all!!!!

I don't know any actual guitar players that have MIA Fenders stashed under their beds that have not been touched for years.

Not under the bed but hasn't been out of the case in over a year.

I declare Stratocaster Neglect, you must donate you guitar to the nearest poor bluesmen (namely me!) as punishment.
