Unless I'm really misreading the diagram (wouldn't be the first time) there seems to be a discrepancy between the one which came with my American Deluxe Strat and [b] the one I downloaded from Fender support: "American Deluxe Stratocaster 0101200/1202, RW/MN" / Switch & Control Function / Pg. 4 of 4 / 5-6-2004 Rev. A

Both diagrams agree on the settings when the S1 switch is OFF, but in the ON position they are quite different. Which one is correct?

p.s. I did a search for "switch and control function" but didn't find anything related to my question.

Well (without trying to be at all funny) are you sure you're looking at the drawing concerning your guitar.

I dunno if the switch diagram regarding the new deluxe is up. But the one concerning the 'old' deluxe matches my anniversary deluxe perfectly. They are different regarding switching, as is the HSS model Standard with SCN switching.

Since I didn't find my ADStrat (011-900-27-00) among the listed service diagrams, I downloaded the nearest relative assuming it would be the same. Obviously I was wrong. Thanks for clearing things up, nikininja.

I'm sure if you email consumer relations they'll send you all you need.
They may need some time to answer though so be patient.

Happy trails mate
