Hey guys, here's some cool info I was able to dig up about Jimmy Page's first real guitar, a 1957 Fender Stratocaster.

Here's the guitar in question. Notice the black trem tip. Tremolos with black tips didn't came into surface until the mid-to-late 1970's.

Thanks for the pictures, chromeface.

I wasn't aware of JP's first Strat. I've seen pictures of his Tele of course and the Strats he played towards the end of Zeppelin, but I don't recall this '57.

That's probably a replacement trem arm.

During the documentry, "It might get loud" it's revealed that Jimmy Page's first guitar was that Strat.
