Post subject: Amercian Standard HSS vs. Road Worn HSS

I like the American Standard because it's well, American-built. Plus it's got Custom Shop Fat 50s along with a Diamondback Humbucker. But it has a Poly finish.

Then I saw the Road Worn HSS. It's got Texas Specials and a Pearly Gates Humbucker and it has a Nitro finish...

I don't know anything about the Diamondbacks but I've heard good things about Pearly Gates. So on top of that, I can't decide if it's worth it to trade the American craftsmanship for the elusive tonal benefits of the nitro finish.

Any ideas? Thanks!
