Hi All,
I'm buying a new amp and I'm looking at the following - Blues Deluxe, Hotrod Deluxe and Blues Junior.
The BJ seems perfect for me as I play mostly at home and then maybe once a week with a band, however, the Blues Deluxe is also an option. My only concern is the volume! I read that the old version of the Hotrod Deluxe had too much volume between zero and two and because the blues deluxe is very close to this amp I'm wondering if it has the same issues - ie, too loud for home use.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Me i just bought the hot rod deluxe 1 month ago and i'm living in duplex house and you can play in house with no problem between 1 and 2 because if i play loud my wife will told me to stop

yes is the hotrod 3 but mine is the FSR hotrod3 the only change is i got a celestion V30 and the covering is black tolex in the each side in twees tolex just like this one

simus that looks awesome.
i bought a nos blues jr, let me tell you, the bjr is loud yet can be played at low volumes too.
the hr deluxe is a great amp but heavier than the bjr.
great looking amp though simus
