Stratocaster Identification. Asking for a help

Hi, can anybody help me? I have a strat, and can't figure it out is it American made or not...
Serial number is N994874 in front of a headstock
and here are the photos

Hi grimmrust,

I believe that is actually a '90, and not '99 as the serial seems to indicate. This is a documented mistake by Fender, and is evidenced by the serial number on the front of the headstock. The serial numbers were moved to the back of the headstock around '95, so a '99 (N9) model would have the serial on the back of the headstock.

Looks like a legit Am Strat to me.

Looks like a legit Am Strat to me.

I agree. It deffinately a '90. By about '96 Fender did away with the '80s Silver logo and serial number on the front of the headstock.
