Hey, just saw a 2001 American Strat for $600. S/n is Z0156422 so it's made in Corona in 2001.
I have been trying to find out what the standard specs is for this model ie., pick ups, neck radius, etc before I go check it out.
Can anyone tell me where I can get this info? I've been all over the Fender site trying to find the model, manual or some info about this. Can anyone help?
Looks in great condition. Probably pick it up for $500 to $550. This sound like a good price?

As you can see the American Series and the Am. Std are very similar, biggest difference between the two are the pickups, the bridge block (the metal bit that springs attach to), the paint and neck finish. It's like Fender kept the best parts of the Am Series and refined it into the Am. Std.
