Post subject: '54 MIM Reissue Strat?

A local guy on Criagslist is trying to sell a '54 Reissue MIM Stratocaster. While it looks like a really nice guitar, I doubt its what he claims it is. He's swears its not a 50's Classic or Classic Player, but a '54 Reissue that was made in 2002 or 2003. Is there such a guitar? Is it really worth the $600 he wants for it? I can find used American strats for the same price.....

This isn't a squier though. Just a MIM strat.... I asked for the serial number or asked him to get the info from Fender.

I worked it out with the guy. He called Fender and its a Classic 50's.
