I am thinking about putting SH-4 JB Humbucker in my Fender California Series Strat. Any recommendations for single coil pickups for the middle and neck position? I like to play Nirvana, Alice in Chains and White Stripes but I would like to have some versatility so that I can play stuff from the Black Keys, Manchester Orchestra and other alternative bands. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I only have one guitar with a HB/single coil combo and it's a Tele with a HB in the neck and Broadcaster pickup in the bridge.

You should check out Lace Sensors. They have some pickups with that combo.
