Im a middle aged guy who decided to pick up a guitar for the first time since the 70's. Bought a Highway 1, now i just have to figure out how to play it........Im currently using the Alfred "Teach yourself to play guitar" program, but i dont love it, you cant run it full screen, its too small- anyone have some input on the best programs available for pc?

Do an internet search for Guitar Lessons. You will get enough hits to keep you busy for a while.

I'm a returning guitar player (ha). Haven't really played for 15 years, so it's like I'm starting over.

A good place for some info is -

http://www.fenderplayersclub.com/woodshed/beginners/beginners.htm

there are lessons for 1 and all.

I haven't looked into any PC/Mac based software yet.

Fender players club is a good site, I also like http://truefire.com/index2.html you can view video, and audio lesson samples, download, and buy books, cd's and dvd's and more...

Man I sound like a infomercial
