ps. how will i know my string spacing is to much or to little? will not line up properly with the magnets in the pickup bobbin?

I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say, "...you mean seymour duncan not dimarzio dont you...?

If it's a Floyd, you'd do best with Duncan TBs in terms of polepiece/string alignment. You can easily see where each string lines up or not over the pickups' polepieces once the pickups are installed and the guitar is strung up. A very easy beforehand test is to turn the pickup sideways and line up its polepieces with the Floyd's bridge saddles. You'll be able to tell right away if the bridge saddle spacing and the polepiece spacing matches. FWIW, with some people, it doesn't bother them if the polepiece/string alignment is off. Me, it would drive me crazy!

cheers man ill use the duncan jazz for the neck i reckon with hot rails in the middle but a bridge model and ill slap a JB-sh4 in the bridge with 250k pots, 5 way switch and a 0.22uf capacitor.

when you say "balls and bells" on command, do you mean that when volume is turned up to ten it will be quite full on, but when turned down it will sound great to for verse riffs etc?

cheers for that ill let ya know how this monster sounds

Sounds like a plan!

About the "balls and bells", yes.

Definitely let me know how it sounds!
